The Dilemma of perfluorooctanoate (PFOA) human half-life

Based on information from both human observational studies and clinical data, this study proposed a range for the half-life for PFOA of 0.5 to 1.5 years, which would likely raise many existing regulatory safe levels if all other parameters stayed the same.
